Nancy Ruth Elliott

Nancy Ruth Elliott, 79, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of Robert L. Elliott, entered into eternal rest Saturday, October 1, 2022. Her Memorial Service will be held Friday, October 7, 2022, in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 6:00 pm.  The family will receive friends an hour before the service.

Nancy was born August 23, 1943, in Appleton, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Leonard Abendroth and Eunice (Puls) Abendroth.  She married the love of her life and best friend, Robert, on April, 2, 1966 in Appleton, WI.  Being a mother and grandmother were the highlights of Nancy’s life.  She loved to spend time at the lake as well as reading books and playing cards with her beloved grandchildren. Nancy enjoyed baking, shopping, gardening, reading and staying up to date on politics and current events.  She was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Greenville, Wisconsin.   

She is survived by her husband, Robert L. Elliott of Mount Pleasant, SC, her son, Mark E. Elliott (Cindy) of Middleton, WI; her daughter, Carrie L. Healy of Mt. Pleasant, SC; four grandchildren, Hailey and Brady Elliott, Kaitlin and Chase Healy ;brother, Robert Abendroth of Freemont, WI, brother, Don Abendroth of Appleton, WI; sister, Debra Abendroth of Appleton, WI; sister, Lynn Schnell (Richard) of Fond du Lac,WI; and her brother Rick Abendroth (Dawn) of Sobieski, WI . She was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Krenke.

The family would like to thank all the medical professionals at Roper St. Francis Mt. Pleasant Hospital and the Roper Hospice Cottage for their compassionate and loving care of Nancy during her battle with cancer.
