Nancy was born August 16, 1959 in Charleston, SC, daughter of the late Daniel E. James, Sr. and the late Ruby Melton James. A graduate of Garrett High School, she worked over 20 years as a dedicated Employee Owner of Cameron and Barkley starting back in the early 1980's. She is remembered for her love of CamBar and the other Employee Owners.
Nancy's smile, fun loving personality and laugh was infectious. The love of her life was "Baby", her late husband, Eddie T. Brown, III. She greatly cherished outdoor activities and especially boating and fishing with her "Baby" before his death in 2013. She had a passion for music, movies, and reading. Her pets were not only family, but a special joy for her. Nancy would be delighted knowing her beloved dog, Molly, is now in the loving home of a special friend.
She will be deeply missed by her family and many friends. She is survived by three siblings, her sister, Gail J. Alexander (Joe) of Myrtle Beach, SC, her brother, Dan E. James, Jr. (Betty) of Richmond, Va., her brother, Tony E. James (Sukanya) of Chesterfield, Virginia, and four nieces & four nephews.
