Entered into eternal rest on the evening of July 30, 2011, Nana Lula Wilburn Stephens, widow of Howard Marshall Stephens of the Isle of Palms. The family and friends of Nana Stephens are invited to attend her funeral service Friday, August 5, 2011 at 10:00 AM in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Park. The family will greet friends in Stuhr's Mount Pleasant Chapel, Friday morning, one hour before the service. Born January 25, 1921 in South Boston, VA, daughter of the late Robert Wilburn and Sallie Jones Wilburn. Nana's favorite pastimes were being a member of the Ladies Auxillary for the VFW of Isle of Palms, Reader at Poe's Library on Sullivan's Island, and was a Sunday school teacher for First United Methodist Church of the Isle of Palms. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Ouzts and her husband Richard of the Isle of Palms, SC; two granddaughters, Elizabeth Adams and her husband, Glenn of Columbia, SC and Stephanie Kerr and her husband Jeff of Lemoore, CA. and two great-granddaughters, Lauren and Grace Adams. Memorials may be made to the Poe Library, 1921 I'On Avenue, Sullivan's Island, SC 29482.
