Myrtle Lee Hendricks, 88, of Summerville, South Carolina, wife of Donald F. Hendricks entered into eternal rest Wednesday, March 11, 2026. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

Myrtle was born June 23, 1937 in Kinston, North Carolina. Myrtle lived a life committed to serving others, particularly through her role as a crossing guard for schools, where she safeguarded countless children as they made their way to and from class. Her warmth, kindness, and sense of duty touched the lives of many families, and her contributions to the safety of her community will be fondly remembered.

In addition to her husband Don of 30 years, she is survived by; sister-in-law, Yvonne Amerson (Michael) of Summerville.

Myrtle's legacy is one of compassion and dedication, and she will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
