Myrtis Delores Workman, 94, of James Island, SC, wife of the late William C Workman, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. Her Private Graveside Service will be held in Holy Cross Cemetery. Arrangements made by J. Henry Stuhr, West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway.

Myrtis was born November 16, 1926, in Savannah, Georgia, to the late Clifford Ward and Florence Clayton Ward. Ms. Workman was a retired preschool teacher from James Island.

She is survived by her two daughters, Sheryl Benton and Pamela Bush; her 4 grandchildren, Jessica Varner and Jared Bush of Charleston, SC, Terri Halter of Spartanburg, SC, James Benton of Simpsonville, SC; 8 great-grandchildren and her nieces and nephews.
