Myra Sparkman, 65, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away peacefully at her home on October 31, 2014.
Myra was born in Charleston, South Carolina, on February 11, 1949, to the late Bernice and Louis Toporek. Myra married the love of her life, William B. Sparkman, on June 27, 1968. Myra was a beloved wife, homemaker, Mother and devoted Grandmother. Myra was God's Girl, leading various Bible Studies and mentoring young mothers throughout her life.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Buck Sparkman, her son, Will Sparkman and daughter-in-law, Karen, who she loved as her own daughter and her grandson Hunter, who was the light of her life. She is also survived by her sister, Sue Oster of Bradenton, Fla., her brother, Alan Toporek of Charleston, SC and many loving friends and relatives.
A memorial service honoring Myra's life will be held Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 1:00 pm at The Church at Bradenton, 2520 43rd Street West, Bradenton, Florida. Arrangements in Florida are by Brown and Sons Funeral Home and locally by J. HENRY STUHR INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL.
