MSgt Stanley Tokarczyk, USAF (Ret.) 88, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Anne Boylston Tokarczyk entered into eternal rest Tuesday, November 22, 2016. His funeral service will be held at the graveside Saturday, December 3, 2016 in Magnolia Cemetery, 70 Cunnington Avenue at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.
Stanley was born July 30, 1928 in Scranton, Pennsylvania, son of the late Peter Tokarczyk and Mary Kupshel Tokarczyk. Stan served in the USAF and was a Veteran of the Korean War and he participated in the Berlin Airlift. He retired after 21 years of dedicated service as a Master Sergeant. Stanley was a member of the Church of the Holy Communion.
He is survived by his wife, Anne of 34 years; daughter, Teresa Baker (Michael) of Charleston, SC; son, Michael A. Tokarczyk (Marsha) of Charleston, SC; step-daughter, Nancy Elise Turner (Wallace) of Steilacoom, WA, step-sons: Charles Andrew Barrett (Rosemary) of Charleston, SC and Walter Boylston Barrett (Lori) of Plantation, FL; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Stan was predeceased in death by his first wife Lee Poole Tokarczyk and son, Ted Stanley Tokarczyk.
