MSgt. Clarence Leroy "Lee" Miller, USAF Ret., 76, of North Charleston, SC, died Friday, June 24, 2016. A gathering of family and friends will be held Sunday, June 26, 2016 at the residence from 3:00-5:00 pm with military honors at 4:00 pm. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel.
Lee was born June 24, 1940 in Washington, District of Columbia, son of the late Clarence B. Miller and the late Nancy Mason Miller. He retired after 20 years in the Air Force and was the owner of Sandy's Place for 39 years.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sandra Daughtry Miller; two daughters, Sandra Miller and Rene" Proffitt (Dell Alford); five sons: Steve Owen (Tarrie), Edward Miller, Craig Dickerson (Cretes), Travis Dickerson, Carl Miller (Chrissy); sister-in-law, Ginger Miller; two sisters, Joan Feaganes and Marie Langley; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one friend. He was preceded in death by a son, Chris Jones and a brother, Sonny Miller.
Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
