MSgt. William D. Hall USAF Ret.

MSgt. William D. Hall, USAF Ret., 77, of North Charleston, SC, died Thursday, March 3, 2011, in a local hospital.

Born October 15, 1933 in Whitmire, SC he was one of three children of Carlton Edward Hall and Margaret Elise Christian Hall.  He was retired from the US Air Force, was a former Mason and retired from Bayer Corporation.

Mr. Hall is survived by his daughter, Sheila Hall Shepherd (Bobby); son, Steven Hall;  granddaughter, Rebecca Shepherd; grandsons, Robert William Shepherd and (Sara Abrams) and Ryan Shepherd (Stephanie); great-grandson, Liam Shepherd all of Charleston, SC; sister, Miriam Hodges of Sumter, SC; brother, Carlton Hall (Judy) of Whitmire, SC; and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ruth Hall.

The funeral service will be held in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, Sunday, March 6, 2011 at 3:00 PM.  Interment with military honors will follow in Carolina Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel Sunday one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers a memorial may be made to the charity of one's choice.
