MSgt. Raze McKinney Foster, Jr. USAF Ret.
MSgt. Raze McKinney Foster, Jr., USAF Ret., 83, of North Charleston, South Carolina, widower of Pamela Jean King Foster entered into eternal rest Monday, July 3, 2023.
Raze was born September 11, 1939 in Drakes Branch, Virginia, son of the late Radford McKinney Foster and the late Lillie Agnes Lacks Foster. Serving 20 years in the U.S. Air Force Raze retired as a Master Sergeant. During his time in the Air Force he served in Vietnam War. Following retirement from the Air Force he entered a second career as a South Carolina Correctional Officer to which he also retired.
He is survived by his daughter, Karen Foster Lewis (Wilson) of Hanahan, SC; two sons, Randall M. Foster (Steven Martin) of Washington, DC and Russell M. Foster (Kelley) of Summerville, SC; five grandchildren: Chatham G. Lane, Kyler M. Lane, Elaine M. Gossie, Sebastian Felczak Sandoval, Virginia A. Gossie.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Jean Foster and his daughter, Stephanie Virginia Foster.
Graveside Service with military honors will be held Friday, August 11, 2023 at Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary Street at 10:00 am. Please arrive at 9:30 am in order to line for procession.
