MSgt. Adrian Joseph Violette, USAF Ret.

MSgt. Adrian Joseph Violette, USAF Ret., 78, of Goose Creek, SC, husband of Sondra L. Schuster Violette entered into eternal rest Saturday, May 14, 2022.  His family will receive friends and military honors will be rendered Saturday, May 28, 2022 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm.  

Adrian was born February 10, 1944 son of  Margaret Mary Lang Violette and the late Adrian Joseph Violette. During his 21 year career in the Air Force he was an Avionics Communication Navigation System technician and instructor. Following retirement Adrian worked at Nielsen Electronic Institute and held several different position including Electronics Instructor, Job Placement Director, Assessment Director, Webmaster and Academic Dean. He also worked at AAI. Adrian enjoyed playing cards with friends and working at the American Legion.  

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sondra; son, Michael D. Violette (Joi) of North Charleston, SC; daughter, Christine Stephens (Tracy) of Summerville, SC; ; four grandchildren: Nathan Violette, Emma Violette, Adrianne L. Stephens, Haley N. Stephens; two sisters, Jeanette Plante of Green Acres, FL and Marie V. Denton (Danny) of Okeechobee, FL; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Fred Violette.
