MSG Douglas G. Keller (US Army, Ret.), 80, of Huger, South Carolina, husband of Virginia "Ginny" Trainer Keller died Wednesday, October 7, 2015. His memorial service will be held on Monday, October 12, 2015 at the V.F.W. Post 10624, 1411 Stuart Engals Blvd., Mount Pleasant, SC at 4:00 pm. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.

Douglas was born February 23, 1935 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Douglas J. Keller and the late Geraldine Massey Keller Brown. He was a decorated US Army Green Beret. Douglas was a member of the 101st Airborne Screaming Eagles. He served in Vietnam and was a past Post Commander of the Mt. Pleasant VFW and a past District Commander.

In addition to his wife, Ginny, he is survived by two daughters, Cathy "Scooter" Keller-Edmands (Stanley), Teri "Flipper" K. Hanley (Lee); three step-children, James Farley, Jr. (Jennifer), William Farley (Michelle), and Robert Farley; four grandchildren, Ginia Hanley, David "DJ" Charles Hanley, Jr., Anna Farley, and Reid Farley; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Joanna K. Dotters; half brother, Jimmy Brown; and many loving nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two siblings, Neannie Crane and Tinkie Stewart.
