Monroe "Eddie" Edmon Morris, Jr., 59, of Ladson, South Carolina, husband of Donna Jean Moore Morris entered into eternal rest Sunday, October 29, 2023. His Funeral Service will be held Friday, November 3, 2023 in the Miles Road Baptist Church, 816 Miles Road at 2:00 pm.  Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday one hour prior to service. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

Eddie was born June 11, 1964 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Monroe Edmon Morris, Sr. and Beckie Carol Morton Morris.  He was a member of Miles Road Baptist Church and he served in many areas, including teaching children's church and the cooking ministry. He had a passion for racing and enjoyed his time at Summerville Speedway.  Eddie had a huge impact on the racing community and was a mentor and father figure to many young men. He also enjoyed working on antique cars, talking, and cooking for his wife and mom.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Donna; mother, Beckie Carol Morris of Ladson, SC; god-daughter, Samantha Carigg (Sam) of Mt. Pleasant; many loved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; dog, Lucy.
