Miriam Schurlknight Rose, 88, of Charleston, SC, the widow of Lloyd Hannon Rose entered into eternal rest Saturday, January 5, 2013. A funeral service will be held Friday, January 11, 2013 in Grace Episcopal Church at 3:00PM. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Park, 3715 Azalea Drive, North Charleston, SC 29405. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Rose was born May 25, 1924 in Alvin, SC, daughter of John Artemus Schurlknight and Ada Wilson Schurlknight. She was a retired computer operator at the Charleston Naval Supply Center and a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Charleston.She is survived by her son, Lloyd H. Rose Jr., of Lubbock, TX; two daughters, Mary R. Murray of Charleston and Linda Dixon of Gaithersburg, MD; brother Dudley Schurlknight of Rockledge, FL; sister-in-law Jessie Schurlknight of St Stephen, SC; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Her daughter, Julie Inabinett , preceded her in death. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Activities Department at Sandpiper Nursing and Rehabilitation, 1049 Anna Knapp Blvd., Mt.
