Miriam Elizabeth Oldham

Miriam Elizabeth Brewer Oldham, 80, of Charleston, SC, wife of Raymond H. Oldham, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2015. Her funeral service will be held Monday, May 4, 2015, in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.

Mrs. Oldham was born August 17, 1934 in Georgetown, SC, daughter of the late Harold H. Brewer and the late Fleta Thornton Brewer. She was a homemaker and a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking, and doing arts and crafts, but mostly she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. We are left to cherish so many memories of a beautiful spirited woman who always thought of others before herself.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years of Charleston; her son, David Michael Oldham (Nancy) of Columbia, SC; a daughter, Linda K. White of Charleston, SC; three sisters; a brother; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
