Miriam Gail Snipes Folk, 87, of Summerville, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 1, 2025. A memorial service will be held at a later date to be determined. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

Miriam was born May 10, 1938 in Marion, South Carolina, daughter of the late Marion Lanneau Snipes and Bernice Altman Snipes. Miriam was a great mother who loved her family. She also enjoyed gardening and reading, especially reading books on the Bible.

She is survived by her sons, William Daniel Folk, Jr. (Jane B.), and John B. Folk; grandchildren, Justin Folk (Lisa), Zachary Folk, and Abigail Christine-Love Folk Poliner (Ryan); and great-grandchildren, Scarlett Folk, Emma Mae Folk, Emmet William Folk, Atticus Hart Folk, Naomi Hart Folk, and Logan James Poliner; and sisters, Ray Snipes Campbell and Rockie Snipes Flowers (Kenneth). In addition to her parents, Miriam was also preceded in death by her husband, William Daniel Folk, Sr.; son, Steven M. Folk; and brother, Sidney Snipes.

Flowers will be accepted.
