Entered into eternal rest on February 26, 2012, Miriam Rourk Bouknight, 85, widow of William A. Bouknight, of Charleston. The relatives and friends of Mrs. Bouknight are invited to attend her visitation and memorial service on Wednesday, February 29, 2012, at 3:00pm at J. Henry Stuhr West Ashley Chapel. Miriam was born on May 20, 1926 in Charleston, SC. She was the daughter of the late Jesse Hugo Rourk and the late Ruby Florence Rourk. She was a member of Northbridge Baptist Church, Northbridge Garden Club, and a secretary in real estate and insurance.

Survivors include two sons; Norman York Parker, Jr (Carol) of Charleston, SC and John David Parker (Tracey) of Franklin, TN; a step daughter, Leila Alice Anderson (Bill) of Charleston, SC; three grandchildren, Nicole, Whitney, and Ian; two step grandchildren, Will, and Lynn; and one great grandchild, Jeffery.
