Minnie Ruth Knight Warren

Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of March 19, 2012, Minnie Ruth Knight Warren, widow of John Alexander Warren. Residence, Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends in Stuhr's Downtown Chapel, Friday between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m.

Mrs. Warren was born September 8, 1921 in Harleyville, SC, the daughter of James Bowman Knight and Julia Agnes Infinger Knight. She was a member of The First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ.

She is survived by two sons: Dr. John A. Warren, Jr. and his wife Brenda of Gainesville, FL and James Knight Warren and his wife Patsy of James Island, SC; five grandchildren: Deborah W. Gilbert, Wendi W. Lowrey, Elizabeth W. Cook, Georgeann W. Doyna, Audrey W. Dimmick and eight great grandchildren: Jessica Rumore, Brenna Lowrey, Ty Lowrey, Emily Cook, Anna Cook, Eliza Cook, Luke Gilbert and Griffin Doyna.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, 1293 Orange Grove Road, Charleston, SC 29407.
