Mimi Genell Ledford Adams

Mimi Genell Ledford Adams, 93, widow of Ellis Eugene Adams, of 927 Bowman Road, Mount Pleasant, SC, passed away October 2, 2017.
Born in Easley, SC, she was the daughter of the late Marion Lucius Ledford and Minnie Lee Manley Ledford.
Mimi was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was most dedicated to her church life and was an active member of First Presbyterian Church of Greenville, where she taught Sunday school and served on numerous committees.
Her abundant love for children blessed the lives of many and her graciousness was felt by all who knew her.
Surviving are her daughter, Jeanne Adams Ware White of Daniel Island, SC; her grandchildren, Gina Ware Schirmer and her husband, Sam Schirmer of Sullivan's Island, and Jeff A. Ware and his wife Beth Ayers Ware, of Greenville; four great-grandchildren, Adam Ware, Sass Schirmer, Hawkins Schirmer and Grayson Schirmer Jones and her husband, Ross Jones. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters.
Graveside services will be held for the family on Sunday at 2pm at Woodlawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Pam Cole officiating. The family will gather privately after the service at the home of Jeff and Beth Ware.
