Millard Marion Moody

Millard "Chut" Marion Moody, 86, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Minnie Limehouse Moody entered into eternal rest Tuesday, May 14, 2019. His Funeral Service will be held Friday, May 17, 2019 in Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1157 Sam Rittenberg Boulevard at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL.

Chut was born July 6, 1932 in Barnwell, South Carolina, son of the late Robert L. Moody and Lillian Creech Moody. He was a U.S. Army Korean Conflict veteran. He attended the University of South Carolina. Chut retired from Prudential Insurance Company after 37 years of service. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, former president and active member of West Ashley Sertoma Club, Mason and a Shriner. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Minnie L. Moody; daughter, Dr. Christie Moody-Spangenberg (Thomas), two sons, Millard G. Moody (Terenia), Stephen L. Moody (Debbie); daughter-in-law, JoAnn Moody; four grandchildren, Krysten Moody, Milliard G. Moody, Jr, Amanda Moody, Stephen L. Moody, Jr. (Christina); great-grandson, Walker L. Moody, and three brothers, Jackie M. Moody, Ronald C. Moody (Pat), William P. Moody (Brenda).
