Miles Porcher Robertson

Miles Porcher Robertson, Jr, 71, who died peacefully on Sunday, April 2, 2017. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, April 9, 2017 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 3:00 p.m.
Miles was born April 21,1945 in Charleston, SC, he was the son of the late Miles Porcher Robertson, Sr., and Margie Lowder Robertson. Miles was a loving husband, father and a loyal friend to many. He looked for the best on everyone he met. He was a long-time Gamecock Football and NASCAR Racing fan.
In recent years, he discovered his love of fishing and loved being on the water; however, he was happiest doing anything, or nothing at all, with his wife and puppies. Most of will remember Miles as a "Great guy". He has been an inspiration to so many by sharing his gallant battle with Cancer. His strength and courage will long be remembered.
He is survived by his loving wife, Tracie Parrott Robertson of Hartsville, SC; two sons, Anthony M. Doxey, III of Columbia, SC, and Lawrence M. Robertson (Jessica) of Charleston, SC; grandchildren, Chase A. Robertson, and Gavin B. Robertson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123 .
