Mildred Wilkinson Rankin

Mildred Wilkinson Rankin, 87, formerly of Hanahan, SC, widow of Joseph Charles Rankin entered into eternal rest Tuesday, November 13, 2012 in Olive Branch, MS. The relatives and friends of Mildred Wilkinson Rankin are invited to attend her funeral service in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 2:00pm. Interment will follow at Dorchester Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday, November 16, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel.

Born January 13, 1925 in Charleston, SC, she was one of six children of the late Frank Wilkinson and the late Annie Mae Parrish Wilkinson Maull. Her daughter, Joann Plunkett, two brothers, John and Frank Wilkinson and two sisters Margaret Mitchum and Hattie Tant preceded her in death. Left to mourn are her brother, William T. Maull of Hanahan, SC; son Charles Bruce Rankin and his wife Cheryl of Goose Creek; two daughters, Mildred Virginia Brock and her husband Buddy of Olive Branch, MS and Patricia Freeman of Summerville, SC; nine grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
