Mildred Mary Netti

Mildred Mary Netti of Charleston, widow of Lawrence F. Netti, entered into eternal rest on the morning of August 17, 2010.  The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL Saturday from five until seven o'clock.   Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 24, 2010, at one o'clock at Higgins-O'Connor Funeral Home, 146 Main Street, Athol, MA.  There will be a calling hour on Tuesday from twelve until one o'clock and burial will follow at the West Road Cemetery, Petersham, MA.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 2090 Executive Hall Road, Suite 130, Charleston, SC  29407.

Mrs. Netti was born on September 29, 1921 in Brooklyn, New York, daughter of the late Peter Maraia and Theresa Gagliardi Maraia.  She was of the Roman Catholic faith and was a homemaker.

Surviving are three daughters, Donna Salerno (Dr. Joseph) of Charleston, South Carolina,  Dorothy Pugliese (Thomas) of Petersham, Massachusetts, and Theresa Gold of Amherst, Massachusetts; grandchildren, Jessica Salerno, Danielle Salerno, Christopher Pugliese, Ari Pugliese, Nicholas Gold, Joshua Gold; and a great grandson, Jackson Pugliese.
