Mildred "Millie" Lester, 79, of North Charleston, SC, beloved wife of Jim Lester, died Sunday, February 21, 2016. Her funeral service will be held Friday, February 26, 2016 in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 2:00 pm Entombment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel.

Mildred was born April 22, 1936 in Douglasville, GA, daughter of the late William Clyde Willoughby and the late Bessie Almand Willoughby. She was a member of Portside Baptist Church, the Twilight Twirlers Square Dance Club and the Mid Morning Twirlers Square Dance Club. Millie also enjoyed reading and travel.

She is also survived by her sons, Richard Lester (Jackie) and David Lester, beloved grandsons, Cody and Riley; brother, W. C. "Dub" Willoughby and nephew, Adam; honorary grandsons, Drew and Kraig Laney and their parents Lynn and Keath Laney.
