Mildred Dianne Horn, 58, of North Charleston, SC, wife of Thornton Allen Horn III, died Thursday, January 21, 2016. Her funeral service will be held Monday, January 25, 2016, in Ridge Baptist Church in Summerville, SC at 11:00 am. The burial will be private. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road, North Charleston, SC.

Mildred was born April 8, 1957 in Athens, TN, daughter of Mildred Inez Miller and the late James McCloud Miller. Dianne loved to read, go for a ride in the car and take care of her family. She was a retired school teacher of 32 years in Charleston County.She is survived by her husband, T. Allen Horn; son, T. Allen Horn IV both of North Charleston, SC; her mother, Inez Miller of Athens, TN; two brothers-in-law, Shaun W. Horn (Wendy) of James Island, SC and Derek Horn (Paula) of Mason, MI; mother-in-Law, Jacqueline Horn of Fair Play, SC. She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Miller.
