Mildred Rae Dixon Blanchard, 85, of Bonneau, South Carolina, wife of the late Julian Blanchard and the late Will Calvin McAlhany died Wednesday, March 9, 2016. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 12, 2016 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC. NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road at 3:00 pm. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 12, 2016 in the Northwoods Chapel from 1:00 until 3:00 pm.

Mildred was born May 20, 1930 in Orangeburg, South Carolina, daughter of the late Wesley Dixon and the late Mary I Zeigler Dixon. She was a homemaker and loved to spend time with her family and friends.

She is survived by two daughters, Gloria Howard and her husband, Mark, of Sullivans Island, SC and Deborah LaLuk and her husband, Nick, of Swansboro, NC; brother, Jimmy Dixon; three grandsons, Troy Bartee, Nicholas Laluk and Will Crosby; granddaughter, Christina Wenck; and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Wesley Dixon, sisters, Roberta Goodwin and Peggy Bookhart, grandson, Ricky Bartee and granddaughter, Tonya Crosby.
