Miguel A. Hernandez

Miguel A. Hernandez, 87, of North Charleston, South Carolina, husband of the late Noemi Mournier entered into eternal rest Monday, July 22, 2024. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 27, 2024 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 5:00 pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at a later date in Evergreen Cemetery, Colorado Springs, CO.

Miguel was born May 5, 1937 in Isabela, Puerto Rico, son of the late Eduardo Hernandez and the late Rosa Rivera. One of his favorite things to do was watching MASH. He was a very serious man. 

He is survived by children, Doris Semprit (Francisco) of Raleigh, NC and Miguel Hernandez, Jr. (Blanca Mounier) of North Charleston, SC and Douglas Hernandez (Brenda) of Colorado Springs, CO; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; siblings, Margie Hernandez of Trenton, NJ, Ana Hernandez of Guttenburg, NJ, Irma Hernandez (Miguel) of Isabela, Puerto Rico, and Corpus Hernandez (Elizabeth Mounier) of Isabela, Puerto Rico. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by daughter Evelyn Hernandez.
