Michelle LeForce Farmer, 59, of Daniel Island, South Carolina, wife of David Fulton Farmer entered into the joy of the Lord on Monday, December 17, 2018. She is our loving wife, devoted daughter and sister, and proud mother. Her Funeral Service will be held Friday, December 21, 2018 at Redeemer Presbyterian Church, 43 Wentworth Street, Charleston, SC, 29401 at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at the church Friday from 12:30 p.m. until time of service. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.
Michelle was born September 25, 1959 in Williamsburg, Kentucky, daughter of Alan Clay LeForce and Shirley Smith LeForce. She graduated from Fort Johnson high school on James Island in 1977, and was a 1981 graduate of Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. She was a Public Relations Professional with Demoss and a member of Redeemer Presbyterian Church.
It's impossible to capture the impact Michelle had on the people around her in a few words. Relationships were of the utmost importance to her-- whether it be with her many friends, colleagues or clients. She laid aside her own agenda to selflessly serve the needs of others on a daily basis-- she had a true servant's heart. She was an incredible mother and friend to her daughter Kat, and loved her husband and best friend David with her whole heart.
Michelle is survived by her husband, David of Daniel Island; daughter, Kathryn Farmer Grayson (Jarrod) of Atlanta, GA; her parents, Alan and Shirley Smith LeForce of Daniel Island; brother, Jeff LeForce (Joy) Rock Hill, SC; two nieces: Allie Adamson and Abbie LeForce; and two nephews: Austin LeForce and Andrew LeForce. We know the Lord welcomed her into heaven saying, 'Well done good and faithful servant'. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Redeemer Presbyterian Church in honor of Michelle Farmer.
