Michael Alan Rogers

Michael Alan Rogers, 44, of North Charleston, SC, husband of Barbara Michele Rogers entered into eternal rest Tuesday, September 4, 2012. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 8, 2012 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road at 11:00 am. Interment, Dorchester Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel.

Mr. Rogers was born December 29, 1967 in Long Beach, CA, son of the late Alonza Rogers and the late Doris Starnes Rogers. He was a Process/Civil Engineer Technician with Hussey, Gay, Bell & DeYoung, Inc. Mr. Rogers was an IT Service Provider for the City of Folly Beach. He was a 1985 graduate of Stall High School and received an Associate of Applied Science, Civil Technology Degree and a Certificate in Computer Aided Design at Trident Technical College in 1994.

He is survived by his wife of five years, Barbara Michele Rogers of North Charleston, SC; mother-in-law, Barbara Hunter Rushmeyer (Dale) of Goose Creek, SC; grandmother, Lillian D. Hunter of Ladson, SC; aunts, Dalma Joyce Stewart of Ohatchee, AL and Laura Hunter Wooldridge (Chris) of Ladson, SC; and many cousins.
