Michael Grant Payton

Michael Grant Payton, 63, of North Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Saturday, March 8, 2025. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

Michael was born February 18, 1962 in Louisville, Kentucky, son of Revis and Marie Payton. He retired from the Navy and enjoyed offshore boat tours, his love for the sea was a big part of his life, including his time serving in the Navy. He enjoyed walking at the Mount Pleasant Pier. Michael loved animals, especially his cats, Monkey, MC, Boots, Lucy and Charlie.

He is survived by his fiancé, Dayle Guidera of North Charleston, SC; stepmother, Kathy Payton of Indiana; and beloved cats.
