Michael Walker Naylor, 45, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Gretchen Michelle Richter Naylor passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2019. The family will receive friends Friday, November 22, 2019 in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road, Mt. Pleasant from 6:00 until 8:00 pm. His graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2019 in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens, 1308 Mathis Ferry Road, at 11:00 am followed by a reception at the family's home.

Michael was born June 17, 1974 in Buffalo, New York and grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. A graduate of the College of Charleston, he was a realtor. Michael put his family and friends first. He enjoyed family trips to Disney World and watching and cheering for all Pittsburgh sports especially the Steelers and Penguins. Michael shared his love of science and marine biology with his daughters. He also loved music and enjoyed attending concerts.

He is survived by his wife of thirteen years, Gretchen Naylor and daughters, Maya Walker Naylor and Harper Anderson Naylor, all of Mt. Pleasant, SC; parents, Edwin Naylor of Kiawah Island, SC and Judith Naylor of Mt. Pleasant, SC; brother, Grant Walker Naylor, his wife Jennifer and nephews, Jackson and Liam Naylor all of Mt. Pleasant, SC; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Earl Richter and Kathleen Richter of Mt. Pleasant, SC; sister-in-law, Heidi Richter of Mt. Pleasant, SC and brother-in-law, Kyle Richter and his wife Mindi of St. Petersburg, FL.
