Michael Hunter Morris, 21, of Goose Creek, SC, died Sunday, February 5, 2017. His funeral service will be held Friday, February 10, 2017 in the Northwood Baptist Church, 2200 Greenridge Road at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road.
Hunter was born May 23, 1995 in Charleston, SC, son of Michael Shane Morris and Toni Marie Kovacek Gadol. A graduate of Cane Bay High School, Hunter graduated first in his class at Lineman School at Trident Technical College. He was employed at Berkeley Electric Cooperative and formerly worked at Easy Way Insulation. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman. He was always full of life, had a smile for everyone and was a loving son, brother and friend. Hunter's relationship with the Lord was reflected in the way he lived his life.
He is survived by his father, Michael S. Morris (Kim); mother, Toni M. Gadol (William); siblings: Brandon Holcombe, Logan Morris, Greyson Parr, Dakota Morris, Savannah Parr and Jack Gadol; grandparents, Herbert and Vickie Morris, Stachia and Chuck Linder, Lineaus and Jessine Dew; uncles and aunts: Robert Lane Morris, David and Shaniqua Morris, Christopher and Joanne Dew, Travis and Paula Dew and Debbie Baker; many cousins. His girlfriend, Margaret Chiasson and many friends also survive him. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Anthony and Marjorie Kovacek; great-grandparents, Herbert and Macy Morris; uncle, William Baker; and great-aunt, Wanda Garris.
