Michael Thomas McAlhany

Michael Thomas McAlhany, 68, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Zoe Todd McAlhany entered into eternal rest Wednesday, November 11, 2015. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 14, 2015 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 2:00 p.m. Entombment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.

Michael was born November 16, 1946 in Sumter, SC, son of the late Wade McAlhany and Irma Padgett McAlhany. He was the owner/operator of McAlhany Roofing Company. Michael was a loyal member of Cathedral of Praise for 21 years. He was generous man with great Faith, compassion, and loyal friend.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Zoe McAlhany of Charleston, SC; son, Michael (Holly)McAlhany, Jr. of Daniel Island, SC; two daughters, Michele Fister of Charleston, SC, and Kimberly (Brian) Longwell of Summerville, SC; eight grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his brother, Mendel McAlhany.
