Michael Eugene Mazyck

Michael Eugene Mazyck, 68, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Rose Marie Gadsden Mazyck entered into eternal rest Thursday, December 17, 2020. A private family graveside service will be held in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road on Monday, December 21, 2020 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm.

Michael was born December 10, 1952 in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, one of ten children of the late Lester Mazyck and the late Florence Moultrie Mazyck. He was a floor technician and landscaper. Michael's career including working at Roper Hospital, Life Care Nursing Home, Sandpiper Nursing Home and The Manor Nursing Home. Michael will be remembered as a strong man with a soft heart. He was generous with his time and talent, never wanting anything in return.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Rose Marie Mazyck of Mt. Pleasant, SC; four sons, Michael Jerome Mazyck (April) of Ladson, SC, Maurice Jeremy Mazyck (Keristen) of Charleston, SC, Eric Mazyck of New York, NY and Michael Anthony Mazyck of Virginia Beach, VA; seven grandchildren, Alexus Mazyck, Terrence Mazyck, Trenton Mazyck, Jeremy Mazyck, Julian Mazyck, Jayla Mazyck and Langston Mazyck; three great-grandchildren, Tyland Mazyck, Lauren Mazyck and Aiyanna Mazyck; and eight siblings. His sister preceded him in death.
