Michael Andrew Lower

Dr. Michael Andrew Lower, 70, of North Charleston, South Carolina, succumbed to cancer on Tuesday, December 26, 2017. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2017 in Liberty Presbyterian Church, 7080 Olentangy River Road, Delaware, Ohio at 11:30 a.m.
Michael was born May 23, 1947 in Akron, Ohio, son of the late Michael Thomas Lower and Mary Demko Lower. He received his Undergraduate degree from the University of Texas and his Master's Degree and Ph.d. from The Ohio State University. Michael loved sports and remained an ardent Ohio State football fan throughout his life. He was employed by the South Carolina School District focusing on Educational Research and Evaluation.
He is survived by his brother, David L. Lower (Karen) of Powell, OH; two nephews, Chad Lower (Mandee) and Jason Lower (Jennifer); grandnephews Ethan, Jack, William and Joshua; grandniece Geralda, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
