Michael Clint Kinard

Michael Clint Kinard, 31, of Summerville, SC, died Sunday, November 6, 2016. His memorial service will be held Saturday, November 12, 2016 in the Northwood Baptist Church, 2200 Greenridge Road at 1:00 pm. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in Northwood Baptist Church. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel.

Born May 7, 1985 in Marinette, WI, he was known to his parents, George Michael Kinard and Patricia Ann Barnett Kinard and family as Clint. Mike received his Bachelor of Science degree summa cum laude in Criminal Justice from Charleston Southern University and was a police officer with the North Charleston Police Department. He was a gentle and kind hearted benevolent young man with diverse interests and talents. He enjoyed weight lifting, going to the beach, watching football and traveling. He was a self-taught guitarist and attended many concerts and festivals. Mike liked to draw and dance. He had an amazing sense of humor, and was interested in mustang cars and trucks. He was a patriotic American and loved the USA.

He will be deeply missed by his parents; two sisters, Lisa Harris (Bill) of Morristown, TN and Stephanie Kinard of Goose Creek, SC; two brothers, Andy Kinard of Miami, FL and Major Truett Kinard, USAF (Leah) of Ramstein, Germany; two aunts, Neal Kinard of Pensacola, FL and Betty Williams of Woodlands, TX; two uncles, Randy Barnett (Jere) and Jimmy Barnett all of Madison, MS; ten nieces and nephews, many coworkers and friends.
