Michael Joseph Kapfer

Michael Joseph Kapfer, 64, of Isle of Palms, South Carolina, died Sunday, April 2, 2017. His Funeral Service with military honors will be held Wednesday, April 5, 2017 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 12:00 pm. The family will receive friends Wednesday in the Mount Pleasant Chapel from 11:00 until time of the service.

Michael was born August 11, 1952 in Baltimore, Maryland, son of Gloria E. Keim Sullivan and the late William T. Kapfer. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland and served 2 years in the United States Army Honor Guard while in Seoul, Korea. He was Past Commander of V.F.W. Post 3137 on the Isle of Palms, SC. He was a car enthusiast and a member of the Corvette Club.

He is survived by his mother, Gloria Sullivan of Baltimore, MD; sister, Lynn Paley (Michael) of Towson, MD; niece, Sara Nell of Baltimore, MD and nephew, M. Aaron Paley of Cleveland, OH.
