Michael S. Johnson, 73, of North Charleston, SC, and husband of Marilyn Sue Altman Johnson, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, July 3, 2024. His Funeral Service will be held Friday, July 12, 2024 in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow in the Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm, one hour prior to the service. .

Michael was born September 12, 1950 in Charleston, SC, a son of the late Everett Johnson and the late Inez Hurley Johnson. 

Along with his wife of, 44 years, he is survived by his son, Matthew Johnson (Christy); his daughter, Candace Johnson; his grandchildren, Charlotte Johnson and Benjamin Johnson; his brother, Johnny Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Mona Fontenot.
