Michael Kent Hickman

Michael Kent Hickman, 62, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Cynthia "Sue" Culbertson Hickman died Monday, June 16, 2014. The relatives and friends of Michael Hickman are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, June 19, 2014 in Christ Our King Catholic Church, 1149 Russell Drive at 10:00 am. The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 18, 2014 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL from 5:00 until 7:00 pm.

Michael was born March 3, 1952 in Roanoke, Virginia, son of the late Raymond Joseph Hickman and the late Barbara Ellen Boyle Hickman. He graduated from Johnson and Wales Culinary College and was a Chef and Restaurant owner. He was also a member of Ducks Unlimited and the National Rifle Association.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Sue Hickman of Mt. Pleasant, SC; son, Patrick Hickman of Mount Pleasant, SC; three daughters, Kelly Clifton of Mount Pleasant, SC, Morgan (Gregory) Dyer of Mount Pleasant, SC, and Chrissy (Delano) Santos of Charlotte, NC; five grandchildren, Reagan Clifton, Bodhi Clifton, Rylan Dyer, Reese Ellen Dyer, Damon Santos; sister Kay Ellen Hickman of Charleston, SC; brother, David Hickman of Roanoke, VA and bother-in-law, John (Laura) Culbertson of Dunnellon, FL
