Michael Timothy "Timmy" Floyd, 53, of Johns Island, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Monday, October 10, 2022. His funeral service will be held Friday, October 21, 2022 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends an hour before the service.

Timmy was born June 9, 1969 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late David Wardell Floyd, Sr. and the late Junalee Elizabeth Martin Floyd. He was an electrician. 

Timmy will be remembered for his kind smile, boisterous laughter, and generous love. He will be deeply missed by his wife Melissa Nichols Floyd of Johns Island; his three children, Isabella C. Floyd, Timothy Floyd Jr., and Catherine Caroline Floyd; two brothers, Jeffrey R. Floyd of Mount Pleasant, SC, David W. Floyd, Jr. of Port Orange, FL; and sister, Elizabeth McConnell of Ladson, SC. He was preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy F. Bendell.
