Michael Gavin Fletcher

Michael Gavin Fletcher, 56, of Mount Pleasant, SC, husband of Rebecca Davis Fletcher died Wednesday, November 14, 2012. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, November 19, 2012 in the St. Andrews Church, Ministry Center- Mt. Pleasant, at 11:00 am. Interment, Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm in J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.

Michael was born April 27, 1956 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Frank J. Fletcher and Mary Holmes Fletcher. He was a graduate of Wando High School and attended the College of Charleston where he was a member of Kappa Alpha Fraternity. His career was in the automotive industry as a salesman. He was an avid hunter and sportsman and a member of Mossy Horn Hunt Club. Michael was a member of St. Andrews Church Mt. Pleasant. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca D. Fletcher of Mount Pleasant, SC, sons Gavin, Hayden and Reid Fletcher, mother, Mary Fletcher, sister, Kathy Fletcher, brother, Bob Fletcher (Denise), niece, Amy Fletcher Flynn (Mark), great-nephew, Fletcher Charles Flynn. In lieu of flowers an educational trust is being established for Michael's children.
