Michael James Doyon, 59, of Johns Island, South Carolina, died unexpectedly from health complications with his family by his side Thursday, July 14, 2016.
Michael was born September 4, 1956 in Baltimore City, Maryland, son of the late Robert Joseph Doyon and the late Doris Effie Durgin Doyon. He was a firefighter and a prior Battalion Chief of Mount Pleasant Fire Department. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the VFW and American Legion.
He is survived and will be dearly missed by his brother, David James Doyon and wife Sandra of Summerville, SC; sister, Lynda Herren and husband Bill of Auburndale, FL; niece Jennifer Robinson of Auberndale, FL; nephew Billy Herren and wife Gloria of WV; stepson Christopher EsDorn and wife Alyssa EsDorn; Michael also loved his granddaughters Grace Knight and Caroline EsDorn; he also loved and adored several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Christina Doyon and his brother, Robert Joseph Doyon.
Services will be private at the request of his family.
