Michael Garson Bennett, 68, of Hollywood, South Carolina, husband of Pam C. Bennett entered into eternal rest Thursday, September 27, 2018. His Funeral Service will be held Sunday, September 30, 2018 in Stono Baptist Church, 953 Main Road at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends in the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL.

Michael was born August 19, 1950 in Steubenville, Ohio, son of the late Layman Norman Bennett and Mary Margaret Savchuk. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran, serving in the 101st Airborne, and a retired GM-Autoworker. Michael's passion was cooking, and he took pride in his yard, flowers, and he loved older automobiles. He was a member of Stono Baptist Church. There is not a person that he met whose life he did not touch.

He is survived by his wife, Pam C. Bennett of Hollywood, SC , son, Michael G. Bennett, II, daughter, Georgiann Bennett; sister, Constance Ziadeh and brother, Carl Bennett both of Youngstown, OH. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Michael was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ronald G. Bennett and William O. Bennett.
