Michael Bruce Becker

Michael Bruce Becker, 72, of Raleigh, North Carolina, died Tuesday, December 29, 2015. His funeral service will be held Saturday, January 2, 2016 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, North Charleston, SC 29406, at 1:00 pm. Interment with military honors will follow in Whispering Pines Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel.

Michael was born June 27, 1943 in Cincinnati, Ohio, son of the late Jacob Becker and the late Eileen Mill Becker. He served honorably in the US Navy and retired after 20 years of service and continued working for the federal government until 2000. He spent most of his retirement years in Goose Creek, SC.

He is survived by his daughter, Kelly L. Becker and her wife Torey Anderson; granddaughter, Madison O'Boyle all of Raleigh, NC; son, Todd Becker and his wife Allison from Cheraw, SC and their children, Leighton, Sawyer and Ashton; sister, Denise Sparks, and her husband Lanny of Oak Harbor, WA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janis Ethel Becker; daughter, Tracy O'Boyle; granddaughter, Jana Bolton; brother, Jacob Becker.
