Merlee Miriam Knight, 95, of N. Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Saturday, July 6, 2024. Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday, July 11, 2024 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 10:00 am. Interment to immediately follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday one hour prior to the service.

Merlee was born September 16, 1928 in Olanta, South Carolina, daughter of the late Judson L. Connor and Janie Locklair Connor. 

She is survived by her sister, Jackie Moore; son, Steven H. Knight; daughter-in-law, Julianne Knight (Thomas), her grandchildren, Matthew J Knight, Steven J Knight, Kimberly L Knight and great grandchildren, Zach and Lanie Jo Knight. 

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Lee B. Merrithew, Joyce Renau, Betty Senn; son, Thomas J. Knight; brother, Arlie J. Connor.
