Meredith Shannon Morris

Meredith Shannon Morris, 49, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, November 7, 2018. Her funeral service will be held Friday, November 16, 2018 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC. DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, 232 Calhoun Street, Charleston at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in Stuhr's Downtown Chapel. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date by invitation only.

Shannon was born October 12, 1969 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of William C. Morris and the late Kaye Petit. She graduated from Middleton High School and attended Francis Marion University. Shannon was an administrative assistant for Glick/Boehm & Associates, Inc. and a member of St. Barnabas Evangelical Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her father, William C. Morris of Lake City, SC; grandmother, Juanita W. Jones of Charleston, SC; two uncles: Francis W. "Buddy" Petit, III (Connie) of James Island, SC and Richard Ellison Morris (Janice) of Hemingway, SC; and cousin, Richard Morris (Amy) of Litchfield Beach, SC.

She was preceded in death by her cousin, Jennifer Lauren Petit.
