The relatives and friends of Melissa D. Thomas are invited to attend her funeral services on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at 3 pm at J. HENRY STUHR INC. WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR INC. WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL on Wednesday from 1pm until time of service.
Mrs. Thomas was born on October 14, 1971 in Spartanburg, SC, the daughter of James H. Edwards and Delores Hayes Edwards. She was a pet groomer at Carolina Groomer. She is survived by her husband, David Branham Thomas, Sr. of Charleston, SC; two sons, David Branham Thomas, Jr. and James Tyler Thomas, both of Columbia, SC; her parents, James H. Edwards and Delores Hayes Edwards of Charleston, SC; one grandson, Jamie B. Thomas of Columbia, SC.
