Melissa Adams Limbaker, 49, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of Samuel Travis Limbaker entered into eternal rest Wednesday, March 2, 2022. Her service will be held Friday, March 11, 2022, in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Mt. Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Rd, at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens, 1308 Mathis Ferry Rd.

Melissa was born October 28, 1972 in Riverdale, Georgia, daughter of the late Frank Eugene Adams and Susan DeVane Adams. She had a life long love for reading and education, and was an award winning assistant teacher with the Charleston County School district. Melissa will be remembered most for the way she loved her family.

She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Samuel Travis Limbaker, two daughters, Cadie Limbaker, Caroline Limbaker all of Mt. Pleasant; her mother, Susan D. Adams of Charleston; sister, Tammy Miller (Larry) of Atlanta ; twin sister, Robyn Howell McKnight (Paul) of James Island; niece, Lauren Peagler; nephews, Lawrence and Andrew Miller, Austin Howell and Bennett McKnight; and sisters-in-law Donna Peagler (Kevin) and Debra Carroll (Brian) all of Mt. Pleasant .
