Melissa Marie Blitch

Melissa Marie Blitch, 43, of Hollywood, South Carolina, wife of John Winfield Blitch, Jr. entered into eternal rest Thursday, January 23, 2014. Her Funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2014, at 2:00 pm in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Pkway. Interment will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday, January 27, 2014, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel.

Melissa was born April 10,1970 in Bremerhaven, Germany, the daughter of Robert Glenn Mock and Gloria Hickman Mock Rook. She was a homemaker who loved her family and also loved her dogs, shopping, fishing, looking for shark teeth, and enjoyed listening to music. She was always thoughtful of others. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Sauldam Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, John Winfield Blitch,Jr.; daughter, Heather Blitch; son, John Blitch III, and daughter, Megan Blitch all of Hollywood, SC; mother, Gloria Hickman Mock Rook; father, Robert Glenn Mock and brother, Clyde Scott Mock, and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brother, Robert Glenn Mock II.
