Maxine Schneider Rosen, 68, of Summerville, South Carolina, wife of Leslie J. Rosen, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2015. Her Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 2015, in J. HENRY STUHR, INC. NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 23, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. until the beginning of the service.

Maxine was born May 30, 1947, in Brooklyn, New York, daughter of the late Benjamin Schneider and Anna Itskowitz Schneider. She was a retired keyboard specialist with the State of New York. Maxine enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, and was known for making up songs and book title puns. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Leslie J. Rosen of Summerville, SC; her son, Brian Rosen and his wife, Jennifer, of Syracuse, NY; her daughter, Lisa DiCostanzo and her husband, Domenico, of Schenectady, NY; her grandchildren, Brianna, Samantha, Derek, Vincenzo, and Anna; and her step-sister, Carol DiGiacomo of Boynton Beach, FL.
